Solutions Executive, Emerging Africa Dimension Data Middle East & Africa

Tony ensures that the business focus for this geography is aligned with overall Group strategy as we continue to drive our solutions and increase our vertical market focus. His role includes helping to leverage our global resources and present a united message to our markets across the continent.

Tony joined Dimension Data’s LAN and OS business in 1994 as an engineer. He held a number of senior technical and

managerial positions before going on to head the division. He pioneered the role of General Manager for Alliances: Middle East and Africa, responsible for the strategic alliance between Cisco and Dimension Data across Emerging Central Africa and the Middle East. Within the first year of Tony pursuing this dedicated role, joint Cisco/Dimension Data revenues doubled, setting a precedent and cementing the practice. Tony has continued in this successful vein, and as Dimension Data has expanded across the continent, he has been responsible for the compliance and strategic operations of its Cisco business, which now spans over 15 countries and seven Cisco Partner entities.

Tony is based in South Africa. He has a Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, as well as a number of business and industry certificates and accolades. Prior to joining Dimension Data, he ran the IT department for the Northern region of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).
