NetApp Sales Engineer for SADC region & Angola - Based in South Africa
I have been in the IT industry for the past 22 years having worked for Siemens and Siemens Nixdorf as a Telecommunication Engineer - building and installing Mobile Base Stations and as a Field Systems Engineer – Installing and supporting Business

Systems respectively. I have also worked for the Sentrachem Group as IT Operations Administrator responsible for Windows, Linux, UNIX, Backup and Recovery, Business Continuance, LAN, WAN and Business Systems Support.

For the past 12 years I have worked in various roles as Technical Account Manager, Systems Consultant, and Solution Architect in the Storage and Server industry for EMC, Dell Computer Systems and NetApp. My experience has been around providing NAS, SAN, Business Continuance, Backup and Recovery, Archiving and Virtualization solutions to the Financial, Telecommunication industries as well as Government institutions and Medium to Small Enterprise.
I’m currently the NetApp Sales Engineer and Technology Evangelist for the SADC region including Angola. My responsibility include NetApp Public speaking presentations, providing Business solutions to Customers and our Channel Partners in the region

"The Internet has and continues to shape new business models.  WEBTV IPTV  SmartTV  Skype GoogleTalk Cloud Computing all are keys to the game plan.  Where is the money and what models are shaping the changes. Legislation lags and new new startups keep changing the game. Content might be king  however bandwitdh is still the queen."
